How to Add or Change a Favicon on Shopify?
Step 1: Sign in to Your Shopify Account
First things first, go to Shopify website and log in to your Shopify account using your email address and password.

Step 2: Go to the "Themes" section
On Shopify, a favicon is included in all themes as a straightforward option.
So, from your Shopify admin, head over to Online Store > Themes.
Step 3: Click "Customize"
Once you’re in the Themes section, hit the Customize button.
Step 4: Open the Theme Settings
Next, click on the icon referring to Theme Settings.
Step 5: Click on "Logo"

In the Theme settings page, click Logo.
Step 6: Select Your Favicon Image
On the Logo section, you can add or change either your logo or your favicon.
In the Favicon image area, do one of the following:
- Click Select image to select an image you have already uploaded to your Shopify admin or to upload an image from your computer by pressing Add images.
- Click Explore free images to select an image from Shopify’s library of free favicon images.
Here, you can also change a selected favicon by clicking on the Change button.
Step 7: Add Alt Text to Your Favicon
Once a favicon is chosen, add alt text to describe your image. Alt text will be displayed when an image can’t load.
- Click Edit.
- Enter a brief description of your favicon image in the Alt text field.
- Hit Save.

Step 8: Save Your Favicon
Remember to click Save to save your changes.
Now the selected favicon is displayed on your browser tab next to your website’s title.
